I’m Chris, florist and founder of Flowers by Darlo.

My flower journey began in the heart of Manhattan’s bustling flower district, where I cut my teeth working on everything from large-scale events to intimate weddings. It was a fast-paced, creative world, and I was lucky to learn and train alongside some of the most talented international florists.

In 2020, I returned home to Ireland and co-founded Bunch Beag, a small project delivering feel-good flower jars across Dublin. That chapter laid the groundwork for something bigger, and so Flowers by Darlo was born.

Rooted in sustainability and a passion for Irish-grown flowers, my work is now based in a studio nestled on a working flower farm: Grá Cut Flowers, run by master grower Gráinne McKeown. We grow premium seasonal blooms from seed - from fragrant eucalyptus to lush foliage and one-of-a-kind florals that shape the soul of my designs.

With my small but mighty team, Flowers by Darlo specialises in weddings, events, and hotel displays. Each arrangement is crafted with care, character, and a commitment to working with nature, not against it. Whether it’s a show-stopping installation or an elegant bridal bouquet, our flowers are grown with love and styled with intention.
